In Process

“Because of the infinite variation in the way individuals are assembled, it must be assumed that the sentient properties of any one person, like his or her fingerprints could never be identical with those of another. It is probable, therefore, that there does not exist or ever will exist one person exactly like another. If uniqueness were an indispensable requirement for an evolving society, every person would be indispensable.”

“THIS IS A STORY, not a theological term paper. I (Michel Hendricks) take you on a journey with me and my friend Jim Wilder. It is a journey that we hope will broaden your horizons about how we grow as followers of Jesus Christ. We may not wrap everything up neatly at the end, so consider this book a first step.”

“To a new generation of readers The Spirit of the Disciplines confidently says that there is a way of spiritual transformation that is accessible to all people and it really does work in the contemporary world. The spirit of the disciplines is the way of Jesus, our divine but human teacher, who has walked and now walks that path before us and invites us to simply follow him as that path leads us through our lives into eternity.”

Until Unity is a heartfelt new work by one of my most favourite Christian authors, Francis Chan. He has had an incredible ministerial  career on a lot of levels, and he sees the incredible lack of unity in the church as a toxic interference in the work of the gospel. As usual with Francis, an incredible helping of appropriate and on-point scripture references…

The 5 Marks of a man is pretty much one of the seminal works on manhood by the senior pastor of Crossroads Church in Cincinnati.

This is clearly a topic that he has developed a life long passion for, and his vision of helping men in our society is stunning.”

Drawing from his own experience and the lives of others, Brian Tome calls on men to examine themselves and take steps in the direction of a fully realized manhood that respects women, elevates others, and works purposefully for an end greater than their own satisfaction or pleasure. It’s time for men to step into their honorable place in the world and lean into a new reality–one defined by strength, purpose, and honor.
